Congratulations, DECA members!

This is the first year that Greater Johnstown High School has had a DECA chapter in many years. On Tuesday, January 8, eight students from GJHS's DECA chapter competed at the District 4/5 Competition at IUP. Students competed against Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center, Clearfield Career and Technology Center, State College High School, and Taylor Alderdice High School. For each event, students took a written test and prepared a role play activity based on a case relating to Marketing and Business. All eight of our DECA members placed in either first or second place in all events. All students will be attending the State DECA Competition at Hershey February 27-29.
